One of the big reason I wanted to go to the initial 5x5 dinner was to try out all of the restaurant's one dish that was on the list. None of the restaurant really disappointed me. Thank you very much again for the kind compliment!Right Way to Eathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01771314441239913617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1945539640055788006.post-23729186091713798912009-09-16T14:43:26.864-07:002009-09-16T14:43:26.864-07:00I really enjoyed this post. Hopefully you can get out there one of these days and try one of their tasting menu to decide for yourself.

Hi kevinEats,

No, I haven't gotten a chance since Providence's 5x5. I knew Angelini was up next week, but more likely I won't go to that.

Hi Aaron,

The timbale is often overlooked in dining here because we take grains for granted. I didn't want to write in the review, but some observers thought the timbale which is barley component is supposed to taste like a souffle or a crustless quiche. However I didn't feel the same way. KFP felt it was his favorite dish of the night. For me, it felt like a risotto.

This meal does feel like a relay race from one chef's dish to another. It start out fast, keep pace in the middle, and end well.Right Way to Eathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01771314441239913617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1945539640055788006.post-16653177985909342622009-09-13T07:52:39.632-07:002009-09-13T07:52:39.632-07:00The barley dish looks and sounds a bit odd.
